With Love Baby Shower

For many years I have spoken of having a lavish Baby Shower for my next child. When the day came, I knew I wanted to go over the top in celebration.

After so many months in Lockdown, not being able to see friends or family or bring people together, I set to work on creating a spectacular shower that would be the backdrop of conversations and laughter after months indoors and of course all the fun that comes from a baby shower for men and women alike.

With our home as the backdrop, I decided to take advantage of the architectural details in my dining room. I knew I wanted Balloons, a Lavish Dessert display and strong branding. From there I set to carve out the details for the Baby shower.

The Backdrop of the day was a custom Cake and accessories wall I designed during the pandemic whilst waiting for events to come back. The backdrop can hold anything from mini cakes, florals or branding items. In this case, I added Personalised towels and baby blankets embroidered with the Logo as well as a selection of mini Cakes, Chocolate photo frames and sweet treats.

LuxBalloonsltd worked with me to create the vision on what became the focal point, a handcrafted perfect Balloon display in hues of brown, caramel and apricot.

With the lockdown in London still in placed much of the world closed, February 14 is going to look a little different for many this year. But that doesn’t mean that you can’t do something a little different to show some appreciation for your loved one.

There are so many options still open to you whether you will be spending this Valentines day with your loved one or if you want to do a little something special for yourself (because self-love is equally as important and Singles Awareness Day is the day after anyway), here are some ideas to help you not only celebrate but to also break the sameness that comes with lockdown.

Breakfast is a BIG deal any other day day but on Valentines day? The options are endless. I love working with lighting, creating zones and setting areas in my home for specific activities. Adding music is also a great way to set the scene. Songs are like timestamps, marking a time, moment, or memory in our lives. why not make a Spotify playlist of your favourite songs and have it playing all day? have a sing along, concert or just as background music to uplift you both and get you in the mood.

FINE DINE AT HOME
